Campagna breaks franchise record

Sudbury Wolves forward Mathew Campagna set a new team record in January, marking at least one assist in 15 consecutive games.

In a season-high point streak of 16 games, Campagna amassed seven goals and 21 assists. His assist streak ended Jan. 4 in the Pack’s 4-3 win over the Brampton Battalion.

Campagna broke the mark set by Paul DiPietro from Jan. 9, 1990 to Feb. 11, 1990. DiPietro recorded at least one assist in 14 straight games.
