Accelerated CycleBarre, Sudbury’s first exercise studio focused on indoor cycling, opened its doors May 22.

The new studio combines state of the art bikes with fun lighting and heart pounding music. Participants are provided with a heart rate monitor that will display RPM, heart rate and calories burned.

Classes are geared toward all ages and fitness levels, as the rider controls the resistance. Indoor cycling is interval based and is one of the most efficient ways to burn calories, according to a press release. It is low-impact and riders have the ability to burn 500-800 calories in a single class.

Accelerated CycleBarre is a destination for people looking for a way to burn calories and improve their overall fitness in a fun and safe environment, the release continued. The studio will also be available as a place for the community to gather for fundraisers, team training, birthday parties and special events.

Accelerated CycleBarre is located at 1375 Regent St., Unit B1. For more information, visit www.acceleratedcyclebarre.com or phone 705-523-2471.
